Chelsea win the battle over Liverpool o sign Brighton and Southampton midfielder’s Caicedo and Lavia.




Liverpool have submitted an official bid of up to £110M in total for Brighton. Brighton is set to accept the offer and if all goes to plan, he will become a Liverpool player on Friday.

 It is understood that Brighton held an auction with a midnight cut off on Thursday. Liverpool were the highest bidders. Chelsea is prepared to bid MORE than £110m still. Liverpool is aiming to discuss personal terms with Caicedo and to complete the transfer on Friday after their higher bid was accepted by Brighton, but the saga is not over. 

Sky sports news has been told Moises Caicedo is having second thoughts about a move to Liverpool.



Chelsea is not giving up on Moises Caicedo despite his Liverpool medical being booked. Chelsea has no intention to give up until contracts, which have already been prepared by Liverpool and Brighton, are signed. Moises Caicedo and his agent are still in London. Chelsea is offering more than Liverpool in wages, but no new bid has been made yet.
