Mauricio Pochettino's Full Pre-Fulham Press Conference: Mauricio Pochettino: "Bad news [on Chilwell]. The doctor told me is it is a bad injury, but we need to assess in the next few days. It's difficult to know. We need to assess in the next few days. The club will communicate." Mauricio Pochettino: "Maybe Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke will be available for selection on Monday. Reece James maybe the week after." Mauricio Pochettino: "It was a very important victory [against Brighton]. The effort was fantastic and now this can make us stronger and be confident for Monday." Mauricio Pochettino on not playing with a striker: "The most important thing is to adapt, the squad needs to find a way to perform, that is the most important [thing]. We can play with one striker or maybe we can play without a striker. I think it is still a few days and I need to see and assess the squad about this situation." Mauricio Pochettino: "The relationsh

Mauricio Pochettino's Full Pre-Brighton and Hove Albion Press Conference: Mauricio Pochettino: “I think it is one of our objectives this season. We need to think about the opportunity to win a trophy. Of course, the feelings after Sunday are not the best but it is about moving on to give the players confidence and trust.” Mauricio Pochettino: “We are playing well; it's only we are not clinical in front of the goal. That is what we need to fix and try to give more confidence to our offensive players. The problem is the most important thing is to score goals.” Mauricio Pochettino: “No [Armando Broja will not start], he needs time. 20, 30, 35 minutes he could maybe help. He is not ready.” Mauricio Pochettino on Bruno Slator’s departure: “A decision between the club and Bruno. He didn't belong to my coaching staff and it's the best decision for him and the club.” Mauricio Pochettino: “I like when the owners come. In all my career. I think it's good. The wa

Mauricio Pochettino's Full Pre-Aston Villa Press Conference: Mauricio Pochettino: "We have had time to work. It's a very good week. The players we have worked very hard. For the fans, of course, it is difficult because normally Chelsea are involved in the [UCL]." Mauricio Pochettino: "Moi we need to assess tomorrow. He was training individually. We will see tomorrow if he can be involved on Sunday. Marc is back and started training. Noni was also involved. Maybe we need one more day with Broja." Mauricio Pochettino on Benoit Badiashile setback: "Yeah but it was in a different muscle, but it was minor, it was small. He was training with Reece James. Chukwuemeka and James are very close to being with the team to start to train." Mauricio Pochettino: "I really believe [the fans] are going to be behind us. It's normal when you don't win, all are disappointed and, like I said in my press conference, it's normal they show their feelings

Mauricio Pochettino's Full Post-AFC Bournemouth Press Conference:  Mauricio Pochettino: "I cannot say that I am happy,  but it was a very competitive game. I think we deserved more, we deserved to win. We created good chances and in the first half after 20, 30 matches I think we created many chances and didn't score. With 12 injuries and only three players that started today who were with us for these two weeks I think I need only need to say it was a really good effort from the team. " Mauricio Pochettino: "I  think we need to be tough in the way that we are trying. We need to prove our efficiency in front of goal. We need to be calm also, but these circumstances are not always easy for the players. We cannot blame anyone." Mauricio Pochettino on Marc Cucurullo : "He was ill. He arrived yesterday before training with a fever." Mauricio Pochettino on Mykhailo Mudryk: "He is improving. He still needs to learn... He needs to understand the game

Another poor performance for Chelsea as they can't score a goal. player rating as Sanchez was the best player.

Image
Chelsea vs Bournemouth ended a draw as Chelsea can't score a goal.  Robert Sanchez [8] Robert Sanchez was todays Chelsea best player as he performed really well keeping clean sheet and saving good chances. Sanchez hasn't performed well the last 4 games but today was the best player by Amile. Thiago Silva [6] Thiago Silva was good as he keeps the clean sheet and defending well. his passing was better, but this wasn't his best performance and that's why I give him six. Axel Disasi [6] Axel Disasi is same with Thiago Silva defended well and his passing was good nothing else to say.  Malo Gusto [6.5] I actually liked Malo Gusto performance although he needs to improve his attacking threat he played and defended well. his crossing is poor, and he mostly passes back. Levi Colwill [6] Levi Colwill played better. although he played left back, he defended better than I thought. Lesley Ogochukwu [6.5] İ am really impressed the performance of Lesley Ogochukwu that was amazing hi

Malo Gusto claims he have a plan, Jackson talks about Drogba comparison and more of Pochettino Press conference.

🗣 Malo Gusto on competition with Reece James: “I’m not stupid or crazy. I knew before coming that Reece James is one of the best players in his position. We get on very well. He talks to me a lot. We are in a big club, there must be good players in each position. The reason I chose Chelsea is because I have a plan. I know what I’m doing.” Malo Gusto on how he plans to be a full back at the highest level and the quality of the Premier League: “I learned to love defending. A full back is above all that. I’ve looked a lot at how Daniel Alves, Kyle Walker, and Trent Alexander-Arnold approach the position. However, I don’t want to imitate them. My identity is to add intensity, to chain offensive and therefore defensive races, to be complete. Being a full back is that for me.”  Malo Gusto was asked about deciding to join Chelsea: “There’s nothing that told me: no, it’s not possible. There was a voice that said to me, you can, so why would you say no? Is there a great player in your place?

Big Interview w/ Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley who have decided to sit down and discuss their time at Chelsea so far.

Image
Winstanley joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion in December. Stewart arrived from Monaco in February. Both understood the job in hand at Stamford Bridge: there was significant work to be done on and off the pitch. ‘We knew there was going to be a big transition,’ starts Winstanley. ‘No chance to sit back and relax, that’s for sure. Did we think we would oversee a Premier League record of transactions? Probably not. 'But the average age of the squad was high, we had players with contract issues which had been inherited from an ownership change, and then there were players who made it clear they wanted to leave. That needed to be addressed.’ ’The volume of players out, the volume of players in, the turnaround has been significant,’ explains Stewart. ‘But there were certain things we had to achieve for the club, and for the group, this summer because results on the pitch at the end of last season made it clear it wasn’t working. We had to make changes to put the club in a be
